Taipei, Feb. 25 (CNA) Taiwan's jobless rate remained relatively stable in January, falling just 0.02 percentage points from a month earlier to 3.66 percent, as domestic economic activity began to recover amid eased concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) reported Thursday.

After seasonal adjustment, the country registered a jobless rate of 3.75 percent in January, remaining at the same level as the previous month, according to data compiled by the DGBAS.

In the same month, the labor participation rate also remained unchanged from a month earlier at 59.14 percent, but was down 0.07 percentage points from a year earlier, the data showed.
